Album Notes & Community Reviews
Acting as a vital companion piece to his landmark debut 'Endtroducing.....', 'Preemptive Strike' gathers the pioneering series of 12-inch singles DJ Shadow released on the Mo Wax label between 1993 and 1997. The collection highlights his unparalleled ability to transform entirely disparate, forgotten vinyl samples into emotionally resonant, cinematic hip-hop suites. It contains several of his most celebrated tracks, including the towering four-part 'What Does Your Soul Look Like' saga.
