Album Notes & Community Reviews

A stellar retrospective highlighting the blistering acoustic virtuosity of the pioneering Romani-French guitarist. The compilation features his legendary 1930s recordings alongside the Quintette du Hot Club de France, blending American swing structures with traditional European folk melodies. It is an absolutely essential overview of the invention of gypsy jazz.
