Album Notes & Community Reviews

The eighteen tracks restore the band's first two cassette albums, cut in mid-1980s Mogadishu, alongside two previously unreleased recordings, with Michael Graves restoring the first volume and Nick Robbins the second. Extensive liner notes built on interviews with the original members document the group founded in Mogadishu in 1984 by keyboardist Isse Dahir Qassin and the nightclub circuit that made it the defining Somali dance band of its decade.
