Album Notes & Community Reviews

This fourth installment of his golden hits series compiles the King's chart successes from the mid-1960s, a period heavily dominated by his extensive, highly lucrative film career. The collection largely bypasses aggressive rock and roll in favor of polished, adult-contemporary ballads and breezy, mid-tempo pop, reflecting the shifting, increasingly commercial demands of his RCA Victor output prior to his legendary '68 Comeback.
