Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drawn from live radio transcriptions broadcast in 1938 from NBC Studios and the Yacht Club in New York, these 22 performances recorded between 1929 and 1942 are the only authorized live recordings of Fats Waller. Catalogued as LPM-1502, the set captures his stride piano and comic vocals in front of an audience rather than against a studio clock.
