Album Notes & Community Reviews

This reissue pairs Fela Kuti's earliest recordings with the Koola Lobitos, made in the mid-1960s, with the sessions he cut in Los Angeles in 1969. The material documents his highlife period immediately before the invention of Afrobeat.
