Album Notes & Community Reviews

An exhilaratingly curated double-disc introduction to the colossal, sprawling discography of the Afrobeat pioneer and fierce political dissident. It distills his famously lengthy, hypnotic funk jams into an accessible format without sacrificing the intense, polyrhythmic fury or the scathing anti-colonial lyricism of his 1970s peak. The collection is widely praised as the definitive starting point for navigating his revolutionary musical legacy.
