Album Notes & Community Reviews
Expanding an earlier 10-inch release into a full LP format, 'The Voice' compiles classic late 1940s Columbia recordings arranged primarily by Axel Stordahl. The lush, string-heavy backdrops highlight Sinatra's pioneering mastery of microphone technique during his initial 'bobby-soxer' idol phase.
