Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathers the breathtaking, heavily jazz-inflected electronic masterpieces produced by Mike Banks' collective within the legendary Underground Resistance label. The compilation highlights their visionary pursuit of 'hi-tech jazz', flawlessly integrating live saxophone and deeply emotional chord progressions into the rapid-fire framework of Detroit techno. It remains a stunning, vastly influential testament to the soulfulness achievable in synthesized dance music.
