Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on his monumental success as Hollywood's premier singing cowboy, this collection compiles his polished, highly romanticized visions of the American frontier. The smooth vocal delivery and gentle orchestral backing heavily defined the commercial sound of mid-century Western music. The release stands as a primary artifact of the entertainment industry's massive cowboy mythology.
