Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring interpretations by Oscar Levant, a close friend and preeminent interpreter of the composer's work, this compilation gathers definitive performances of 'Rhapsody in Blue' and 'An American in Paris.' The recordings expertly bridge the gap between European symphonic traditions and American jazz sensibilities.
