Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Le Serpent' presents the Algerian percussionist's Gnawa-rooted playing, centred on the guembri's low cyclic patterns and hand percussion. Guem treats rhythm as a complete musical language, building trance-like structures from interlocking parts without melodic instruments.
