Album Notes & Community Reviews

Documenting some of Xenakis' most terrifyingly massive orchestrations, this collection is an overwhelming display of avant-garde power. The performances expertly handle the composer's stochastic mathematical theories, rendering colossal, dissonant sound masses that evoke a dark, almost apocalyptic atmosphere.
