Igor Stravinsky conducts his own ballets 'The Rite of Spring' and 'Petrouchka' together with the early orchestral showpiece 'Fireworks', from his Columbia recordings with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra. The composer's own readings are notably leaner and faster than most interpreters', primary documents of his late performing style.
