Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the legendary Belgian chansonnier's death, this compilation gathers his most intensely passionate and dramatically orchestrated vocal performances. The collection famously features five previously unreleased tracks recorded during his final, secretive 1977 studio sessions in Paris. It perfectly captures the satirical wit and overwhelming emotional theatricality that made him a titan of European music.
