Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued following the pianist's remarkable late-60s career reinvention as a hardcore country artist, this Sun Records compilation reintroduces the explosive, wildly rebellious energy of his initial 1950s rock and roll breakthroughs. The collection gathers the frantically paced, piano-pounding classics that firmly established him as arguably the most dangerous and physically dynamic performer of the entire early rockabilly era.
