Album Notes & Community Reviews

This single-disc retrospective surveys the British group's transition from their bluesy beginnings into a complex, folk-inflected progressive rock juggernaut. Heavily emphasizing Ian Anderson's signature flute work and idiosyncratic lyricism, the collection provides a sturdy, accessible overview of their dense conceptual era.
