Unearthing the lost, independently distributed cassette recordings of the pioneering electronic and acoustic composer, this compilation maps her output from the late 1970s and 80s. Studying under Robert Ashley and Terry Riley, she utilized early synthesizers, flute, and voice to craft incredibly sparse, meditative new age minimalism. The release rightfully repositioned her as a vital, tragically overlooked figure in the history of American ambient music.
