Album Notes & Community Reviews

Documenting the American producer's immensely influential early-1990s output on the R&S label, 'Classics' captures the aggressive evolution of global rave culture. The compilation is anchored by monumental tracks like 'Energy Flash' and 'Mentasm', which introduced the iconic, pitch-shifted 'hoover' synthesizer sound to the masses. These heavy, dark dancefloor anthems essentially laid the foundational blueprint for both hardcore techno and trance.
