Released just as John Lennon entered his five-year domestic retirement to raise his son, 'Shaved Fish' compiles the vast majority of his post-Beatles solo singles. The collection famously groups his fiercely radical, anti-war anthems like 'Imagine' and 'Power to the People' alongside deeply introspective, soul-baring ballads. It remains the only formal compilation of Lennon's solo material issued during his lifetime.
