Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released posthumously to overwhelming global grief, this compilation served as the definitive, updated summary of John Lennon's solo career. The sequencing perfectly balances the raw, political urgency of his early 1970s anthems with the polished, intensely domestic pop songs from his final masterpiece, 'Double Fantasy'. It stands as a moving, incredibly successful commercial tribute to the slain former Beatle, dominating international charts for months.
