Album Notes & Community Reviews

A career-spanning selection of Jorge Ben's samba-rock, drawing mostly on his recordings of the late sixties and seventies, when he fused samba rhythm with rock instrumentation and his own percussive guitar style. It documents the period that produced standards such as 'Pa铆s Tropical' and 'Chove Chuva' and reshaped Brazilian popular music.
