Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released to capitalize on the massive international success of 'Hounds of Love', this compilation perfectly surveys the first brilliant decade of Kate Bush's highly theatrical career. The sequence traces her evolution from a literary, piano-driven prodigy into a fiercely independent studio architect heavily utilizing the Fairlight CMI synthesizer. Featuring a newly re-recorded vocal take on 'Wuthering Heights', it remains the only official greatest hits collection released during her peak creative era.
