Album Notes & Community Reviews
'The History of Rock' is an archival reconstruction of Kid Rock's early catalogue rather than a new studio album: songs from 'The Polyfuze Method' were re-recorded, material from 'Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp' was remixed, and unreleased session tracks were added. Its Rap Rock, Hard Rock and Hip Hop include 'American Bad Ass', built on a sample of Metallica's 'Sad But True'.
