Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering his most explosive, piano-driven hit singles for Specialty Records, this compilation-style debut highlights one of early rock's most frantic, unhinged architects. 'Here's Larry Williams' features seminal, wildly energetic tracks like 'Bony Moronie' and 'Dizzy, Miss Lizzy' that would later heavily influence the impending British Invasion. The breathless, aggressive rhythm-and-blues backing definitively established the artist as a formidable, if chaotic, rival to Little Richard.
