Album Notes & Community Reviews
Collecting nine distinct 7-inch singles released between 1997 and 2003, 'Inches' captures the hyper-energetic evolution of the chaotic New York art-punk outfit. Fronted by the wildly theatrical Tim Harrington, the band seamlessly merged the aggressive dissonance of 1990s post-hardcore with the jagged, danceable rhythms of the ensuing post-punk revival. The compilation is widely celebrated as their most consistent and exhilarating release, perfectly preserving the frantic energy of their legendary live shows.
