Album Notes & Community Reviews

Consolidating recordings made for the Aladdin label, this collection highlights the foundational elements of his country blues style. The completely unaccompanied performances place a stark focus on his highly idiosyncratic, unpredictable acoustic guitar rhythms and deeply autobiographical lyricism.
