Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released to compile his highly successful string of late-1960s singles, 'Emozioni' is widely considered a cornerstone of Italian popular music. The collection highlights Battisti's unparalleled collaborative synergy with lyricist Mogol, weaving melancholic, introspective poetry over lush orchestral arrangements and acoustic guitars. It firmly established his transition from a behind-the-scenes songwriter to a generation-defining solo artist.
