Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released at the height of T. Rex's glam rock fame, this archival compilation gathers Marc Bolan's early, pre-stardom acoustic recordings from 1966. The tracks reveal a nascent, deeply idiosyncratic songwriter experimenting with whimsical psychedelic folk and mythic lyricism. It provides a fascinating, stripped-down glimpse into Bolan's creative evolution before his transformation into an electric guitar icon.
