Assembled for the PBS documentary series 'American Epic', this anthology returns to the Victor and Okeh sessions of Will Shade's Memphis Jug Band, the jug, kazoo and harmonica ensemble that first recorded in 1927. Audio engineer Nicholas Bergh restored the fifteen tracks from the best surviving original discs, the same transfer method used across the series' soundtrack program.
