Album Notes & Community Reviews
Compiling the entirety of MF DOOM's legendary, decade-spanning instrumental beat tape series under his 'Metal Fingers' alias, this box set is a towering achievement of underground hip-hop production. The tracks unmask his deeply eccentric, crate-digging genius, seamlessly looping obscure 1970s soul, jazz-funk, and cartoon soundbites into dusty, hypnotic boom-bap rhythms. The sprawling collection serves as the foundational sonic architecture for nearly all of his celebrated lyrical projects.
