Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Fotografa o Rio' is a compilation of Moreira da Silva's recordings in the samba de gafieira idiom, the ballroom style built for dancing couples. It preserves the repertory of a singer anchored by the samba de breque delivery he created in 1937 with 'Jogo proibido'.
