Album Notes & Community Reviews
Originally released as a three-LP box set five years after his tragic death, 'Fruit Tree' gathered the entirety of the British songwriter's deeply overlooked studio albums. The collection slowly ignited a massive posthumous cult following, showcasing his incredibly intricate, open-tuned acoustic guitar fingerpicking and hushed, autumnal vocal delivery. It serves as the definitive monument to a fragile, melancholic genius whose influence grew exponentially over the ensuing decades.
