Nymphs

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally issued as a series of four elusive, highly praised 12-inch singles recorded in New York, 'Nymphs' was eventually compiled into a singular conceptual body of work. Nicolás Jaar utilizes impossibly crisp microhouse percussion, vast ambient spaces, and heavily manipulated vocal samples to create deeply emotive, slow-burning electronic suites. The collection showcases his distinct ability to bridge the intellectualism of IDM with the kinetic demands of deep house.
