Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued by Bethlehem Records following the singer's departure for Colpix, this release is an unusual compilation coupling leftover tracks from her debut 'Little Girl Blue' sessions with recordings by Chris Connor and Carmen McRae. While essentially a label cash-in, her four included tracks beautifully demonstrate the intense, classical-tinged piano work and uniquely authoritative vocal phrasing that quickly launched her to stardom.
