Album Notes & Community Reviews

Steven Stapleton compiled an incredibly disorienting set of obscure tape manipulations and nightmarish auditory sketches for this release. 'Scrag!' relies on abrupt cuts, disjointed field recordings, and terrifying bursts of industrial noise to craft a surreal, Dadaist sound collage. It serves as a fascinating, chaotic summary of his highly uncompromising mid-eighties experimental output.
