Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Lifehouse Elements' distils Pete Townshend's long-gestating science fiction rock opera Lifehouse into a single disc drawn from the six-CD 'Lifehouse Chronicles' box set. The material, much of it demo based and synthesizer driven, preserves the project's dystopian narrative of a future Britain without live music, the same song cycle from which The Who's 'Who's Next' was partly salvaged.
