Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering the entirety of the Montclair, New Jersey band's early EPs and standalone singles, this compilation serves as a comprehensive prologue to their studio albums. It captures the group's formative blend of intricate midwest emo guitar work, twangy alt-country warmth, and Evan Stephens Hall's distinctly conversational lyricism. The collection effectively documents their evolution from a scrappy basement project into a beloved staple of the modern indie-rock scene.
