Fabulous Greatest Hits

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This essential compilation gathers the defining, tremendously influential mid-60s singles of the pioneering Jamaican singer and producer. Seamlessly charting the rhythmic transition from the upbeat, highly syncopated energy of ska to the slower, heavily bass-driven grooves of rocksteady, the album serves as a foundational text for the development of modern reggae and the subsequent UK two-tone revival.
