Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released as a stopgap between major studio efforts, this hybrid compilation combines six brand-new tracks with heavy remixes of the group's previous classics. 'Greatest Misses' maintains the chaotic, dense production of the Bomb Squad while attempting to align Chuck D's militant rhetoric with the era's shifting hip-hop aesthetics. While critically viewed as a minor release in their legendary catalog, the new material reflects the turbulent racial politics of the immediate post-LA riots landscape.
