Album Notes & Community Reviews
A reissue of Raymond Scott's 'Soothing Sounds for Baby', the electronic composer's three-volume 1962 series of gentle, repetitive pieces intended for infants. Long predating ambient music, the recordings were recovered in the 1990s as precursors of electronic minimalism.
