Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released by their former label to capitalize on the massive mainstream success of 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik', this compilation rounds up their chaotic 1980s output. The collection is defined by frenetic slap-bass lines and aggressive punk energy, highlighting their initial status as an irreverent cult act. It provides a fascinating, raw contrast to their heavily polished, superstar-era material.
