Album Notes & Community Reviews

Isolating the American expatriate's brilliant translations of the iconic Belgian songwriter, this compilation draws material from his revered late-1960s solo albums. The lush, dramatic orchestral arrangements provide a perfect backdrop for Walker's booming baritone interpretations of Brel's dark, cinematic narratives.
