Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released at the height of their cultural ubiquity to stall for time during a period of intense internal friction, this compilation is an unassailable document of the band's revolutionary pop supremacy. The sequence effortlessly bridges heavily syncopated, socially conscious funk anthems like 'Everyday People' with massive, horn-driven party hits like 'Dance to the Music'. It remains one of the most perfectly distilled and deeply influential singles collections of the psychedelic soul era.
