The Three E.P.'s

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Assembled from their inaugural trilogy of limited releases, 'The Three E.P.'s' introduced The Beta Band's idiosyncratically layered and highly collaged sound to a wider audience. The record weaves through woozy folk, trip-hop percussion, and psychedelic experimentation, acting less as a compilation and more as a sprawling, accidental debut album. Famously name-dropped in the film 'High Fidelity', the collection permanently established the group as cult favorites in the Scottish indie scene.
