Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collecting the Australian outfit's earliest, highly abrasive recordings鈥攊ncluding their debut 'Hee Haw' EP and material released under their original name, The Boys Next Door鈥攖his compilation maps their aggressive infancy. The tracks capture Nick Cave and Rowland S. Howard tearing apart the rigid structures of post-punk with squalling feedback, jagged rhythms, and theatrical, gothic terror. It serves as a visceral prologue to the unhinged, blues-drenched chaos they would unleash upon relocating to London.
