Album Notes & Community Reviews

Combustibly combining the final two EPs recorded before the band's dissolution, this compilation captures the Australian post-punk pioneers at their most terrifyingly unhinged. Relocating to West Berlin, the group pushed their abrasive, blues-drenched noise rock to manic extremes, largely driven by Rowland S. Howard's shrieking guitar feedback and Nick Cave's violent, biblical lyricism. It stands as a harrowing, masterpiece-level conclusion to their chaotic lifespan.
