The Dave Clark Five's Greatest Hits

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled primarily for the American market, this immensely successful release documents the explosive, heavily rhythmic sound of the London group that initially challenged the Beatles' chart dominance. Driven by the leader's thunderous, incredibly prominent drumming and heavily distorted, booming saxophone arrangements, the collection gathers their massive, 'Tottenham Sound' pop-rock anthems, perfectly capturing the frantic, high-volume energy of the early British Invasion.
