Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering the first two EPs from Brian McMahan's post-Slint musical project, this collection delves deep into sparse, agonizingly slow guitar atmospherics. The music is characterized by whispered, lethargic vocal delivery and vast amounts of quiet, tense negative space. It served as a critical evolutionary step in the development of 90s slowcore and post-rock dynamics.
