Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released during a period of intense internal turmoil and impending group dissolution, this collection summarizes the brief but extraordinarily successful initial run of the California vocal quartet. The compilation gathers their flawlessly harmonized, lushly orchestrated defining pop hits, serving as a pristine, slightly melancholic time capsule of the mid-60s 'Summer of Love' aesthetic they helped invent and popularize.
